About me
Hi! My name is Jai Desai. I am a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech. In my free time, I enjoy working on projects that combine my interests in sports (NY sports fan) and technology. As a result, I have led the Georgia Tech baseball efforts to modernize the technology that gives feedback to the team’s pitchers and find unique insights for the Coaches. Coaches have shared that “this site gives us an edge on ACC teams who have led in analytics in college baseball like former national champions, Wake Forest”. Additionally, I have worked in a team that received funding from the Georgia Tech startup incubator Create-X for finding profitable sports betting picks powered by basketball analytics.
In my professional experience, I have completed two internships with IBM. In the first one, I worked with the product growth team to track cart abandonment, convert more users from trial to paid versions, and fulfill various executive requests surrounding time-based attributes. In the second internship, I helped build a dashboard to track invoicing requirements and user help pages and resolved security vulnerabilities in production code for the Enterprise Service Hub team. I plan to intern with Stripe this summer in South San Francisco as a Software Engineer on the Revenue Intelligence Team.
On this site, you’ll be able to learn more about my education, research, project, and professional experience. Feel free to contact me on LinkedIn or at contactjaidesai1@gmail.com with any additional questions!
